Wow, that was terrific. I loved the whole thing with Aaron and Lynn at the end and this line is terrific -

Sweetheart and a jackass all at once: that was Logan. Lilly now knew that was hardly the worst thing a man could be.

I'm not typically a huge fan of Lilly fic but I loved this.

Thanks for the comment! It was my first stab at Lilly fic, so I'm glad you liked it.

Dude! Best beta recognition ever!

Although, bad me, cause I missed a typo. In describing the blue sky: It should be "It was quiet" - not quite. Sorry bout that.

She was great.

He had said so.

Those lines still kill me. I have a lot of issues with Lilly, but that right there never fails to break my heart.

I really liked the way this turned out. Sad fragments of a shattered life. An unapolagetic view of all of Lilly - good points and bad points.

Heh. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for your great suggestions.

A good beta never stops. Thanks for catching the typo.

As much as Lilly made really stupid choices in her life, and was somewhat larger than life in the way we saw her through the memories of the fab four, I feel she's a tragic character for reasons beyond the manner of her death. A lot of that is wrapped up in her relationship with Celeste. But I'm sure you'd never guess that was my view of Lilly after reading this fic, eh? Heh. Yeah, I'll be quite now.

I really love this, Grace. I'm a sucker for tragic Lilly fic and this is a perfect exapmple of it.

I love your descriptions of the colors as Lilly loses them.
She could see the edge of the afternoon sun setting behind the house. It winked at her; its bright yellow cutting through the orange haze like a knife of clarity

Have you really never seen Lilly and Lynn in a fic together? I haven't either, but I know you read more than I do. I think those two informed on each others lives enormously.

I really loved this. It was very Lilly, unapologetic and yet not romanticized.
