Oh, this is delicious and oh so surprisingly hot. The rollercoster analogy makes perfect sense - losing control and not being able to breathe until it's all over - as does having Kate reassuring Claire, taking her along with a smile on her face.

I love the analogy here, how the carnival part isn't literal (because everyone is using that prompt and there's only so much of it I'm going to be able to take before I go insane). I love how detailed this is, the imagery here, how I can see it all play out.
