Urgh...I...the...AGH!

I'm struggling not to bawl right now...

I yearn to see what Sylar will do next here, and I am absolutely in love with Sylar's admission that he wanted to seek Mohinder out, that he wanted him to not be dead. This is a gorgeous story...

I look forward to having my heart crushed...

So many tender moments on Sylar's part in this chapter. I absolutely loved them....

Damn. I knew there was going to be tragedy, but I wasn't expecting it to be like this. At least there are two more parts, so I'm still holding out hope that Mohinder will magically recover and all the zombies will be cured and YAY HAPPY ENDING!!... But I highly doubt that will happen.

You're breaking my heart here, but in a good way! This is one of the most intense, emotional, and engaging fics I've ever read, and it makes me both sad and anxious to know that we're drawing close to the end. I'd say more about how much I love the interaction between Sylar and Mohinder, and how evocative the narration is, but I'm feeling kind of speechless now. Poor, poor Mohinder :(

Oh. My. God. You're absolutely evil! Like Joss Whedon! And I mean that in the nicest possible way. I was so happy when I saw that this had been updated, and then I felt like my heart had been ripped right out of my chest by the time I was done reading. I've been prepared for Sylar to die since the very begining, but... Mohinder... *whimper* This is just terrible! I mean, I guess I knew that it would be a cop-out for Mohinder to not get infected after what happened in chapter 7, but I was really hoping that he wasn't anyway. I don't handle Mohinder-death very well. Not to mention that Sylar could never find a cure by himself, so now the world is just gonna STAY like this, and he's gonna be miserable and completely alone until the day he DIES. Seriously, you're killing me here.

And in some sick way, I actually like that you chose to not have Mohinder throw himself at Sylar in the end. I kept expecting them to get it on or something, and then it never happened, and now it's too late, and it makes my heart hurt to think of all the

Y'know, I do sort of feel guilty for that even though I think it's what works for the fic. Because, well, I have Mohinder/Sylar in the header because technically that's the pairing, but it's never actually consumated. And the R-rating might lead people to think otherwise, but really it's just R for zombies. D:

Eh, if people were to read the warnings (which I never do... this is both good and bad, because the deathfics always catch me off-guard), they'd see that you've never given any warnings for sexual situations, so it's their fault, really! And don't feel guilty. It's nice to read a Mylar series where the writer is able to put aside their personal preferences and keep them so IC. It must be difficult, because I'm guessing that you wanted them to hook up just as much as everyone else. Most writers probably wouldn't have been able to show that kind of restraint. I'm not saying that other stories where they actually get together are bad, 'cause I certainly like many of them, but this fic has definitely stayed more true to Mohinder's

I haven't read the whole of this story, but I'm going to. This chapter, though, made me all teary.
