Y'know, I do sort of feel guilty for that even though I think it's what works for the fic. Because, well, I have Mohinder/Sylar in the header because technically that's the pairing, but it's never actually consumated. And the R-rating might lead people to think otherwise, but really it's just R for zombies. D:

Eh, if people were to read the warnings (which I never do... this is both good and bad, because the deathfics always catch me off-guard), they'd see that you've never given any warnings for sexual situations, so it's their fault, really! And don't feel guilty. It's nice to read a Mylar series where the writer is able to put aside their personal preferences and keep them so IC. It must be difficult, because I'm guessing that you wanted them to hook up just as much as everyone else. Most writers probably wouldn't have been able to show that kind of restraint. I'm not saying that other stories where they actually get together are bad, 'cause I certainly like many of them, but this fic has definitely stayed more true to Mohinder's character. I really like that even though Mohinder knows that he's going to die soon, he still won't allow himself to say or do what he really wants to, because it's still Sylar he's dealing with, and he's still Mohinder, so he can't bring himself to get past that. He's so fucking stubborn and I <3 him for it.

But thank you so, so much. I think being compared to Whedon is one of the best (and oddest!) compliments I've even got. I'm looking forward to torturing the pair of you for another two parts. ;)

Well, this chapter reminded me of Joss' #1 rule when it comes to writing: "Don't give people what they want, give them what they need." You most certainly did that. XD

LOL, I accidentally posted this as a response to the fic instead of your comment. Whoops.
