It's been quite some time since I've needed much help on anything fibro related. I don't take any medications (anymore) and most days my pain is nonexistent. I still have flare ups in rainy weather, but I've recently relocated in Jan. 2011 from NY to SC where the summers are much hotter. lots and lots and lots of water. seriously. you dont realize how fast you can dehydrate, and it doesnt help any at all.

we're on day 4 of heat indexes in the 106+ range (my yard thermometer reads 102 right now, weatherbug says "only" 91/heat index of 99). keep in the cool as much as possible, iced drinks, etc.

remember, your body isnt working at full healthy capacity. you need to give it a little special care when the weather is severe whether it be hot, cold, or stormy. (trust me, i'm all over aches, too!)

Ugh.. 106+ sounds disgusting. Is there anything you can think of that I can do for my joints in the humidity? My knee & hip on one side is aching pretty badly.

Live with it and hope the flare gives up soon is all I know how to do.
