Here I sit.  Watching my Dad slip away. In the moments he’s awake we look at old pictures from his childhood and he tells me about them.  I’ve seen a few smiles…the one from his first communion and his swearing in to the Polish army really made him smile.  That was nice.  Last night I was able to talk him into eating a strawberry.  His eyes ( Read more... )
