WARNING: there is a lot of cursing in this one... lol.

Author's notes: this is IMPORTANT you should probably read this one okay? okay: Depending on how many comments I start get on this one or part 10, I think i'm going to lock this fic for a little bit to only certain people (my peeps who comment) because I really hate silent readers and I feel like there are more people reading this than is being let on. perhaps. and really I just want to know (even if it's just something stupid like hi i'm reading this derp), so for this one I won't do it, but the next one might just be... and I don't know how long it'll be before I post the next one, but you should also know that sometimes they are up for a week before I post them on taehyumin. sooooooo okay read the drama-filled-ness of this chapter.
This chapter was also just kind of slopped down on my computer, so forgive me if it seems sloppy, I didn't read over anything but the first part.

They were in the car and on the way to Taemin's house in complete silence. There was nothing Taemin could think to say except that he needed to get Minho away from Krystal before anything stupid happened. He felt his anger boiling inside him, but he just focused on the road, refusing to let it out.

However, Minho had other plans. While Taemin concentrated on getting to his house, Minho spoke up, asking, "Does that girl know-?"

"No," Taemin snapped almost immediately, "she doesn't know, Minho." He felt his grip on the steering wheel tighten and his teeth grind a little as he pressed a little harder on the gas and kept his eyes glued to the road. "Why did you come here?"

Minho was a little taken back, but came quickly to defend himself, "I came here for you. I thought you'd be happy to see me."

"I would have, you know, had you not been four months late," Taemin felt his emotions going on override, but he was still able to keep the car steady and in motion.

Minho's posture became increasingly defensive, "I didn't know what to do. I couldn't even leave my house until you moved. I didn't even know you moved until I was released by my mother. I tried to come for you, but I didn't know where you went. How was I supposed to find you? You didn't give me anything to go on."

"I don't, Minho, I don't fucking know, but it's way too late now. That girl, that was my girlfriend whom I'm trying to break up with, but not like this, Minho. What if you'd said something? You didn't say anything did you?"

"I didn't," Minho grumbled. "Taemin, if you're breaking up with her then I don't see how it's too late. Unless..."

It was quiet for a long while.

"Look," Taemin started as calmly as he could manage, but there were tears obscuring his vision, though he made a point to concentrate extra hard on the road, "It's been four months and a lot of things have changed. I have changed. It sounds stupid and selfish, but I really never thought I was going to see you again..."

Minho was visibly angry now. He was staring at Taemin, who refused to look away from the road, and he felt himself becoming heated, "There's someone else, Tae...?" It sounded like a question, but Taemin knew better than that. Taemin knew that Minho knew him and it wasn't a question at all. Minho had been his best friend for years and it had only been four months.

Taemin's voice was barely above a whisper, "Yeah, Min, there's someone else..."

It was all quiet again except for Minho's shifting. He leaned back on his seat and then sat up again. He ran his hands through his hair and could be audibly heard sniffling a little bit.

Taemin felt like shit.

"You're a fucking slut," Minho said bluntly while looking at Taemin.

Taemin still refused to look at the older boy, but let the hot tears stream down his face as he sobbed a little bit.

"You're really a fucking slut. It's only been four fucking months," his voice was far too loud for Taemin's little car. "What, did you just come here and immediately jump on some other guy's dick? You came and got yourself a nice little cover up girlfriend and-"

"Shut the fuck up," Taemin yelled back.

Minho became quiet.

"You have no fucking idea what I went through when I got here. I waited for you for a long time. I tried to cover up being gay because of that last hellish month I spent without you. While you got to sit at home and hide, I was out being ridiculed and doing it all alone. I hated being here and I hated pretending to be straight, but you know what? It doesn't have to be that way anymore because I found someone who helped me and who has made me stronger. I wanted you, Minho. I wanted you for a long time, but things have changed."

He still wouldn't look over at the older boy, but he could tell Minho was crying too. "Taemin, I just... I fucking-"

"Don't say it. You'll only hurt us both more because I know you might think you do, but you don't, at least not the way that you should."

Minho sniffled a little bit more, "What's his name at least? Please, I just want to know that."

"Jonghyun," Taemin said and looked at Minho for the first time, "He's good to me. You'd like him, I think."

All fell quiet again as they went the rest of the way to Taemin's house.

~

When they got to his house, it wasn't the quiet scene they were expecting. Taemin's mother was hanging halfway out the door screaming her lungs out in anger and nonsense as Jinki stood his ground not to far from her yelling back, Kibum a few inches behind Jinki.

"Holy shit," Taemin cursed, tears all dried up, but instant realization spreading across his mind. "Fucking Jinki," he cursed again.

Key's eyes met with Taemin's when he heard the car doors open and they looked pleading.

Taemin headed up toward the door, Minho close behind, and very quickly became noticed by his and Jinki's mother. "AND YOU. I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. YOU WANT TO BE LIKE YOUR FATHER, THEN BE LIKE HIM AND LEAVE."

"Great, mom. Your a regular, grade-A bitch and you should be proud of it. If you wonder why we all turned gay and left you, just remember this moment because gay and leaving you are not directly correlated in all cases," Jinki spat. He'd really always been smarter than Taemin let on, but there was no time to commend his brother on his efforts.

Their mother had no more words to say, so she just withdrew back into the house and shut the door.

"God dammit, Jinki. This is all your fault, again, you know," Taemin said as he ran his hands through his hair.

"Sure, Taem, blame it on me. You're the fag who got us into this mess in the first place."

Taemin huffed irritatedly, "You're just as bad as mom. Plus, you're hypocritical and have been nothing but a closet gay all this time."

Jinki let out an amused laugh, "Oh, I'm no longer in the closet, dear brother, because if I was I would be sitting in my room with Kibum here doing the unspeakable things," his glance fell over to Key for just a moment before returning to Taemin.

Taemin just let his mouth fall into a line.

"Besides, that's a little hypocritical too because I know while you're putting on some facade about having a girlfriend, you're secretly fucking Jonghyun behind her back."

It was a bold claim, and it really hit home a little too close for comfort. "Fuck you," Taemin spat at his brother, now on the boarder of punching him in the face, "this is all your fucking fault," and he couldn't help himself when his glance went to Minho for a split second before returning to Jinki.

That was when Jinki noticed Minho, which gave him a little shock, "What the fuck are you doing here? Oh, shit." Suddenly, he looked a little more sympathetic for Taemin, but it was really too late.

"Ahem," Kibum finally spoke up, breaking the intense silence and grabbing attention from the other three instantly, “Since we’re not really welcome here, I suggest we go back to my place? Jonghyun is probably there and it will be easy to sort out everything once we’re in a comfortable place. I know you’re probably feeling a lot of things right now, Taemin, but it’s better to just get this all over with right now, yeah?”

Taemin nodded weakly before turning to Minho, “I guess I should bring you back to your car?”

Minho, who had his arms crossed and was looking at Jinki with a scowl, previously, turned to Taemin with a more sympathic glance and said, “No, I want to go with you. I want to meet Jonghyun.”

Taemin just nodded again and the group got in their cars and headed towards the center of everything.

~

Jonghyun was waiting outside his house. He was waiting because of that worried text from Taemin saying, “Something is up with Krystal,” and then that other text not too long after that Key sent saying, “Jinki and Taemin were kicked out of their house. Got a surprise with us~. I’m sure you’ll just -love- it.”

He really wasn’t sure what to expect, but he couldn’t wait inside, he just couldn’t. He was worried to the bone and still all he could think about was the smile on Taemin’s face when he left his house that morning and how it probably wasn’t going to be there when he saw him this next time. Then, there was the surprise. What could be the surprise? Jonghyun assumed maybe a daring tale of how both brothers came out and got kicked out of their house, but knowing Key that wasn’t much of a surprise. There had to be something else.

Suddenly, the cars were pulling up and first he saw Key’s and then Taemin’s. He let out a sigh of relief, but maybe a little too quickly. He noticed there was a passenger in Taemin’s car, but really he didn’t have much time to process anything about it. As soon as Taemin’s car stopped, the passenger got out. He was a tall guy with dark hair and he looked fairly handsome if Jonghyun was judging, but that wasn’t really what got him. It was more of that fact that the guy was headed straight for him and he didn’t know why. If he’d known why, he probably wouldn’t have just stood there.

It wasn’t long before they were face to face and then the strangers fist was colliding with his face. There was really not time for rebuttal and before he could do anything about this guy, Jinki had come to the rescue and Taemin was yelling something that Jonghyun couldn’t quite hear because he’d just been hit in the face and knocked to the ground. It hurt.

~

“What the fuck are you doing?! You said you wanted to meet him not punch him in the face,” Taemin shouted this in his frantic tone. He should have expected it, really, he should have.

Minho was being held back by Jinki, who had gotten him off of poor Jonghyun. Key was at Jonghyun’s side making sure he was okay and that left Taemin to scowl and yell at Minho. Minho just growled, “What’d you want me to do? Shake his fucking hand?”

Taemin made a frustrated noise while covering his face with his hands. When he calmed down a little he said again, “You shouldn’t have come here,” before walking over to help aid Jonghyun.

Minho ground his teeth.

“Calm down, buddy. You act like my brother is some untouchable goddess that you’ve earned or something. Let me let you in on a secret, he’s not,” Jinki said as he pushed Minho back a little further and let go of him.

“You’ve always been a real prick. You know that, Onew?”

Jinki smiled, “No one has called me that in a while, and yes, I know. It’s kind of my job. If I’m not, who is going to be? Right?”

Minho just glared.

Meanwhile, Taemin had Jonghyun’s head in his lap and said apology after apology to the older boy, “I’m really sorry. I shouldn’t have brought him here. I’m so sorry. Are you okay? Really, I’m sorry.”

Jonghyun laughed through a bloody nose, “It’s okay, really, Tae. It’s nice meeting Minho. He seems nice.

Taemin laughed, “He’s really not that bad, but he’s pissed, you know? I’m so fucking sorry.”

“It’s okay,” Jonghyun offered one more time before he grabbed Taemin by the back of the neck and brought him into a kiss.

“I can’t fucking deal with this,” Minho suddenly shouted and began to walk off in a random direction.

Taemin and Jonghyun parted and looked after him along with Key and Jinki.

“You need a ride back to your car?” Jinki offered, being the nice guy that he is.

“Fuck off, Jinki,” was all Minho said before he took off and eventually became unseen.
