Oh god, ouch. I loved that! I loved the gradual decline of it, the spirally timeline and the way it felt like Patrick was simultaneously letting go and holding on so tight. *shivers*

People who lose someone but never really find out what happens are kind of in a limbo, y'know? It's hard to let go, because there's always that tiny sliver of hope that maybe they aren't dead. And Patrick had the addition of being angry at Pete versus loving Pete and yeah. I'm really glad it came out okay. :)
