2. Obviously Remus and Tonks were never married and never produced a baby.

...damn.

I can't help wishing there was still going to be a Teddy Lupin around somehow. XD I would so love Harry to have a godson, hee.

Harry may indeed have a godson someday. At least an adopted one. It just won't be Teddy. ;-)

Yay Muggleborn Registration Act! Nothin' like a little angst-fodder.

("Eep," says my inner!Stephen)

JL, AV and I are still talking about this. The main road-block, of course, is that if this has 'already' occurred to people during the course of the war, then it really doesn't make sense that the majority of the populace has been so accepting/apathetic about the Registry and collars and things, now. So we're not really sure how we will explain/deal with this.

One option is just to 'assume' that the people who were treated so horribly during the war are now feeling something of a savage justice/sense of vengeance that the tables are 'turned' and those who had registered/mistreated them are now getting a taste of their own medicine.

Another option is to simply view this as a canon precident and something to play with on a future-timeline here at the game. Good old Dolores is still at the Ministry. Who is to say she might not suggest expanding the existing Registry to include this Muggle-born proviso?

So we're still pondering this one. :)

Either one works for me. Stephen's got a bit of the vengeance thing going against the DEs anyway, since they offed his dad. On the other hand, having the Muggle-born thing happen now would be more plot to be involved in, which would be yay.

Well, it could be seen innocently enough as a "concession" to those collared that they're working towards showing that these registries are nothing more than paper. Then, once in place, it could morph into something more sinister.

The main problem I had with the Muggleborn Registration Commission is the argument that they stole magic. When we know for a fact that wandless is a possibility. Can Muggleborns not do wandless? If that's true, then canon has contradicted itself (Lily's backstory). If they can, they can prove themselves proper witches and wizards. If not, then there really IS a difference between those of magical lineage and those who are not.

But, I could see the registration happening more and if the right spin was put on it...

Going back through the book to make sure I know exactly what happened to him when and where.

Certainly, I'm going to take some of it, especially the treatment of his family at Voldemort's bidding. But, of course, since Tonks and Remus never married, it wouldn't be due to marrying werewolves.

Not sure if I want Harry to disarm Draco though. If I accept that, then I can't see that there would have ever been the point where he lived with Harry willingly. ^_^

Yeah, there is a lot of awkward moments in DH between Harry and Draco, the incorporation of which will make Draco's acceptance of Harry's help either easier or harder depending on how you look at it ( ... )

Kimberly and I were chatting, and here's what we talked about regarding the whole Draco-Harry situation ( ... )

That bit with Narcissa got me, as well, and I'm planning a fic already!!!

As for Dean, I was SO excited with his role in DH, but it would contradict all of the backstory I set up for him, so I don't think I'll be able to work any of it in. (Except for the dad abandoning his mum/possibly being a wizard! Since I wrote that already!!)

I liked all the new information about Hannah. She's actually a pureblood. However, that would totally change who I've set her up to be in game.

However, now that I know she is a fighter she will definitely be stepping up to the plate a bit more. I really want her to jump into the protests and such that are planned. Of course, this isn't just random either seeing as she respects Zak. That said, I need to be able to have her interact a bit more with Zak through WWW.

I don't think she's actually a pure-blood - it just confirms what JKR said about Muggle-borns probably having a wizarding ancestor somewhere in their family tree.

Yes, but I had her father pegged as a complete Muggle. That would mean that either he was a plain Muggle or somewhere there was a squib that broke away from the Wizarding world. I just found it interesting that she's magical from both sides instead of just he one side as I had her written as.
