Travelling through a portal had been strange, but it was rather effective. First stop was his room to drop off his bag. The room was luxurious, even more so than Boromir's rooms at the inn in Fandom had been.

He moved towards the window, looking out over the mountains and he wished they had let him bring his bow.

Elphaba herself entered the room not much later, and set her bag down.

She looked over at Faramir and gave a slightly embarassed cough. "Which of these beds would you prefer?" she asked.

That would serve him right for not having paid attention to whom he was sharing the room with.

"It does not matter to me," he said, blinking at Elphaba. "You have been assigned to this room as well?"

Jane needed food, so she made a beeline for the place that looked most likely to have real stuff. It was a good thing this place had burgers, because now at least she knew she could eat for the week.

Too bad as she waited for her order she realized she really wanted pizza, though.

If you're in that kind of mood, check out the various trails, pick the one that you like and get going! Don't break a leg!

Faramir only briefly glanced at the skiing and snowboarding and quickly decided it wasn't for him.

He pulled his cloak around him and picked a trail that led up the mountain, eager to discover this new land. He merely hoped there weren't any orcs or trolls in these mountains.

Jono's level of experience with skiing and snowboarding was... not so much. But that wasn't about to stop him from giving it a go nevertheless.

The one upside to snowboarding, he supposed, was that he couldn't accidentally cross his skis on the way down the hill. The downside, on the other hand, was that the only way that he could figure out how to stop was to do so on his behind. And because of certain difficulties in communicating, getting lessons was right out. At the very least, being wrapped right up to his nose around here was perfectly normal.

By the end of the week, he would probably end up getting the hang of this. Or else he'd spend a lot of time with a very sore bottom.

IT IS! WANNA GO BACK TO BOULDER NOW! (Though I'm kind of afraid of what the fires did to it.)

What happens if I can't convince Faramir to leave?
