He pulled his cloak around him and picked a trail that led up the mountain, eager to discover this new land. He merely hoped there weren't any orcs or trolls in these mountains.

The one upside to snowboarding, he supposed, was that he couldn't accidentally cross his skis on the way down the hill. The downside, on the other hand, was that the only way that he could figure out how to stop was to do so on his behind. And because of certain difficulties in communicating, getting lessons was right out. At the very least, being wrapped right up to his nose around here was perfectly normal.
By the end of the week, he would probably end up getting the hang of this. Or else he'd spend a lot of time with a very sore bottom.
