Since it was a lovely day I went for a long walk west along the canal (e.g. away from the shops, restaurants, etc.) with my camera. Along the way I made an interesting discovery - I've known today that if I press the macro button it's only a moderately close focus, about a foot or so, not ideal for smaller things. Nice macros.

My camera has a decent macro lens. But unfortunately a teeny screen, so you can't really tell if the macro stuff is in focus until you've exported the pics from the camera. So I have to snap several and hope! :-)

Same here, but the card holds 500+ pictures so I always take multiple shots of anything interesting.
