Saw this in Kensington Gardens London yesterday, in the Italian water gardens at Lancaster gate

Later - reliably informed this is a damselfly, not a dragonfly. Thought it looked a bit small. My bad.

Since it was a lovely day I went for a long walk west along the canal (e.g. away from the shops, restaurants, etc.) with my camera.
