First off, let's give a big round of applause to all the writers of our recently completely Het fic, Restive. *applauds*

The reason behind this post is actually just as the subject line says. We already have our next Het fic ready to begin. Yay! The pairing for our next fic will be Jayne Cobb and Inara Serra. The working title of this fic is ( Read more... )

I posted Chapter 24, so a few thoughts:

1. Even though I have Jayne and Inara thinking they can't be 'together' anymore, that's just a momentary thought. *g* There better be at least a little more smut in this fic! It's Jayne and Inara for goodness sakes!

2. I would really like to see Grace be the one to off Aldridge! Please!

As to where it's going...Grace is disturbed by the satisfaction she feels in killing Sir Aldridge. Inara & Jayne are uncomfortable together. The Captain's wondering about the things he saw on the planet.

Or something else entirely!

eep! I didn't think it would get to me so quick! I've been unable to get online for a few days and just saw that I'm up. May I have an extension please? just so I can get caught up and make a decent effort :)

Gorram computer issues and writers block from hell are going to kill me yet. I'm working on the chap right now and should have it done by tomorrow morning at the latest (unless Zombie-Jayne eats my brain first). I'm sorry for the continued delay folks. *hangs head in shame*

Okay, I just noticed how scary that icon is. Jayne goes hunting brains. Ewwww... (and I *never* say "Ewww" where Jayne is concerned).

Where was I? Oh yes, looking for a chapter update. I've been horribly lax at keeping up with everyone, but I thought I would check in and see if how it's going with the chapter. Let me know if you need anything or if there is something I can do to help. If you'd like to pass, all you have to do is let me know (although I really hope you're still interested). =D
