I went to the midnight showing of Indiana Jones with andreathegreek. Oh, how excited we were. Oh, how we glowed with glee. Oh, how we laughed and cheered with the rest of our dorky crowd. History! Adventures! A well of things thought long past! Indy with a whip and a fedora, back again with his rakish grin ( Read more... )

Oh no. This makes me sad. Was it cheesy or was it like Star Wars? I don't mean the classic Star Wars, I mean the new trilogy. Those were just bad :(

It was some strange mix of the two. I thought maybe Georgie boy had gotten all the bad writing out of his system with Ep 1-3. But no. It seemed like he just took four unfinished cracktastic scripts, tossed them all in the air, and grabbed random pages.

It's such a shame, because that man used to be my idol =/

You make me SAD! Surely some Spielberg involvement offsets the badness of Lucas?

Still haven't watched the latest Star Wars travesty...the other two sucked so bad.

I'm sorry =/ The...camera angles were good? That's all I can think of. I mean, there was no fault on direction or Harrison's acting but the script and everyone else's acting...

Actually, Episode III wasn't as bad as I and II. No way near as good as the original but not as 'oh gawd oh gawd someone make it stop' as I/II...

I wanted to watch but haven't gotten around it. :/ Sequels are always a risk, but I thought there wasn't much to do wrong with this one... >_>

I had so much hope. Mostly because the other tree were awesome and Harrison Ford was back and they had nearly twenty damn years to work on the thing. Feh.

You'd think that I would learn the risk after the last Star Wars eps and the whole Pirates of the Caribbean travisty =/

I liked it. Certainly not the best nor worst, pretty predictable, but overall entertaining and enjoyable. Maybe because I locked myself up and refused to see any commercials or anything so I'd have absolutely no expectations.

Did you do an Indy marathon before hand? Such good stuff.
