I have a credit card account that I pay online every single month... it's been closed for a few years now (yes, it's taking me a long time to pay it off) & I have still had online access. I tried to log on today & I suddenly don't have access anymore. I called up to find out what the heck was the problem & encountered this ( Read more... )

Man I get those calls too, though usually it is because something is overdue. It's really annoying, though. If you really want me, don't send an automated call!!

When I get calls from 0000000000 it's coming from the federal government, but that makes sense for me. I'd guess it's some company that doesn't really have a "main number" and so they disguise where the call is coming from so you can't call it back.

Even when I answer these calls there is no one there! It just clicks immediately & goes dead.

I have gotten calls from 00000000 and 00123456 that are from Skype...though I think you can program most corporate phone systems to show whatever "outgoing" number you want

i'm pretty sure that's supposed to be a scam of some sort dude, i've gotten those calls too it's just phishing. Did you give them a card #?

No, I called back & said "Why am I getting a call from this number" and they asked for my name and stuff and said it was Bank of America. They were able to see my account history & my payments that were set up... IDK. I don't HAVE an account number to give for that account since I don't physically have the credit card associated with it.
