It's been many years since I've listened to Mozart, but the style is still unmistakable. I've always loved the harpsichord - way more than the piano. It just has that delicate, precise texture.
Amy was skeptical about it being authentic at first- but indeed, I told her that a composition as distinctive as this would be *pretty* hard to fake.
I bet the violinists and cellists studying and practicing this piece were in a race with one another to see who could be prepared to put on a complete performance first.
