The current job site has changed, but not drastically. 90% of the crew has *not* left yet; only about 20% of it has been assigned elsewhere. Same thing happened to my mom where she had some problem with a dishwasher that wasn't even that old. She bought it shortly after they moved there, like maybe 2018. The thing that spins around gets jammed or something like that, and the repairman said it would be $300 to fix. She's going to live with it until October because supposedly appliances get clearanced out really cheap around that time.
I thought it interesting that RFK Jr. went against his family and wife to support Trump. Good for him. I think Trump will do well because the populace isn't that excited to vote for the first childless weirdo anchor baby bimbo stuttering female president.

I looked up the model of dishwasher that my landlord got for us, and it's ultra low end but it only cost like $350, so it might be worth replacing.

We decided to "splurge" and got one that was right around $500 (marked down from $800 for the Labor Day spread!), but it's not getting delivered till September 13th. Lots of handwashing to be done till then; at least the kids are helping out with it some.
