Friday was a "short" workday- by about 15-20 minutes- because the contractors we're working for/with decided to leave a little early, but forgot to tell us until they were just about out the door.  So, they actually left the job site while we were still packing up and cleaning up our areas.  What would've been a departure time of 45 minutes "early ( Read more... )

The current job site has changed, but not drastically.  90% of the crew has *not* left yet; only about 20% of it has been assigned elsewhere.  The rest of us returning today still had plenty to do, and can look forward to even more for the next four days- though there is the possibility that Friday will be a day off, meaning another four-day ( Read more... )

I am concerned; in trying to make this post I am being "forced" to construct the entry in the new-that-I-really-don't-like style.  Is this being non-consensually shoved onto me in hopes that I'll eventually like it, as was done with Windows 10 and 11?  Or, is something more sinister at work here?  Only one way to find out, I guess.
