Oh, sweet Jesus

Hi, all! I've been writing. And playing video games, ashamedly. Not that that's really something to be ashamed of, I guess, but I've been playing A LOT lately. Probably too much. I bought Bully recently and I've been playing that like crazy. It's not what I expected, but it's fun. It's Grand Theft Auto-esque, but it's a lot different ( Read more... )

You've been writing? YAY! And I totally agree with you on Ray. He is awesome and have liked him since Corrina, Corrina. Love that movie.

Or like, Tim Allen looked too bored in the scene where he watches Martin Lawrence try to knock down the milk bottles at one of the game stands at the chili festival?

Who wouldn't be bored? :P

And you're listening to FOB! :D

YES! Writing! Hey, when I'm done with it (not sure when exactly, but hopefully soon), you wanna take a look at my PBFE before I turn it in?

Yay, a Ray fan! I can never seem to find any of those. All of my friends like the young pretty boys these days. I'm totally about the older men, though I do like the younger ones too.

I am in love with the new FOB album. Been listening non-stop. My favorites are #2 and #14, but I like most of them quite a bit. #3, the single, is good too.

Who's in your icon?

Yes, please. I'd love to take a peek at it.

Ray is an acquired taste to some, I guess. And when "Smith" was canned, I don't think people got a chance to see him. Shame.

And the new FOB album is awesome. I can't stop listening to myself. I do believe that is FOB's own Patrick in my icon up there. So cute.

Cool. I guess I'd better get workin' on it!

I was bummed that Smith got cancelled so quickly. They didn't even give it a chance. I admit that it was a bit tough to get into at first, but it got more and more interesting as it went on, and to only give it three episodes to make an impression is just shitty. Look at all the great shows that took entire seasons to really blossom. And look at all the crappy shows that continue to run. I will never understand why some shows get pulled so fast. Perhaps there are office politics involved that we'll never know about or understand. Who knows?

That's Patrick? Wow, he looks so different from all the other pictures I've seen. His voice amazes me. Plus, he's super intelligent and very funny. I've read interviews.

Yes, please! Maybe we should concentrate on something a little less complicated. Something with a good story, but not so much exhausting plot or tough settings or hard-to-come-by costumes. Like a good indie-esque flick. Something in which I can cry, perhaps? :) And I need to perfect my fake laugh and not make it sound so fake.

hmmm ... what if we all made up characters we wanted to play and then thought up a story line around them? that way, we would all be totally into the characters we were playing and they would interact in interesting ways.

Hey, that's not a bad idea! Hmm, there are two types I'd want to play. Either another badass like Chloe or a complete nerd who's horrible in social situations. I'm leaning more towards the nerd because it's got comedic potential and I've already done the villain before. Time to branch out. But I could go either way, whatever we don't have enough of once everyone else has their characters in mind.

Any thoughts about yourself?

Holy god, that's a lot of tattoos. I totally have a thing for tattoos too. So Wild Hogs was good? I thought it looked funny, despite the bad reviews it got. I want to see it sometime this week, but speaking of Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey, Jr., go see Zodiac, they're both in it and both awesome (especially Mark Ruffalo, who also looked adorable with curly hair and wearing bowties :D).

Yeah, Wild Hogs was definitely funny. I've see nothing but bad reviews, but I just don't understand it. Or maybe I'm easy to please.

Oh, I totally want to see Zodiac. I noted that both actors are in it, not to mention Jake Gyllenhaal, whom I also love. Triple threat. Plus, could be interesting anyhow. I hope it comes to our theater. It's a pretty small theater and some movies pass us by. It's not here yet, but it might be here next week.
