There used to be a way to report profiles as spambots- but I think it only applies to "profiles" that comment, not merely *friend* me.

That's my feature request: I would like to be able to respond to a "friend request" with a report of "obvious spambot".

You can report a suspected spambot here. I reported someone who had a click through ad on his/her profile page. Possibly not a bot but certainly flouting the TOS. The account was suspended.

Incidentally, your feature confusion caused me a chuckle. It's been a while since I made that class of error, but that's because I don't visit that other place anymore. I do miss my friends, but it's just too time-consuming.
