Speaking of white trash, my best childhood friend (whom I haven't spoken to in years), sent out wedding invitations last year, on which was written in nice calligraphy, that she and her South Carolinian fiance had registered for wedding gifts at WAL-MART. I feel bad, but it still makes me laugh. At least their wedding reception wasn't at The Olive Garden...

That's really shooting for the lowest common denominator. I mean, registering is like getting free money. Why would you register for things that cost $10?
