The response to the first scene has been amazing, and it's usually very easy to convince me to write more.

I've been on vacation for the last week. I didn't have access to the internet until the very end, but for a good part of the week I was puzzling out the rest of how I would need to cast various Avatar characters to fill the Firefly roles. Some ( Read more... )

ionoeiaheoiraoewrew. Shit. I missed this entry. I didn't know you were doing a full story of this. (Did I? AUGH what if you mentioned it to me at some point and I missed it I feel like such a douche now.)

We can totally do our two fusions. They're waywayway different (I'm following more the plot of Avatar with some elements of Firefly thrown in) and so. I'll support yours please don't hate me for doing almost the same thing you are? <3?

You were completely and totally posting all this first. I had the first bit written ages ago, but I had the idea about where to take it later after reading your version. It doesn't hurt that they have entirely different approaches (added to Firefly cast vs. replacing Firefly cast in odd ways)

No worries! (And OMG cutest icon ever. Half the reason I started adoring my school's admissions department (besides the rocking secretaries) was that they stock half of the Calvin and Hobbes anthology as the reading material while you wait. They have Calvin and Hobbes collections instead of magazines.)

I might have to pick your brain at some point for a few details. I like getting a sense of what other people think is possible with bloodbending/bending in general, but mostly I think bloodbending is fascinating. It's the least-practical way to grab water in the body there IS, essentially. Only 1/12 of water in the body's in blood, and I'm a nerd so I take physiology class and apply it to magic. But it makes for interesting conversations.
