Well, hello. It's been a while. How was everyone's Xmas/New Year/generic winter or in fact summer break?

Mine was pretty fun. As usual I spent Christmas at the family fold, and then New Year in Cornwall with the Festivas and various associates. This year I decided to dress as Wonder Woman.

I WENT TO CANADA AND I MET spacefragments (she made it!) and aldehyde AND OMFG YES IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. AND I STAYED IN aldehyde's APARTMENT AND I MET HER FRIENDS (INCLUDING juliet_a WHO IS JUST SO LOVELY) AND WE SHOPPED AND WATCHED TV AND PISSED ABOUT AND IT WAS EVERYTHING I DREAMED OF.

1) I have now handed in the first full draft of my MSc dissertation! \o/ I am waiting for feedback on it, and I will still need to write an abstract and that kind of thing, but for the first time I feel like the end of this epic-yet-mainly-pointless qualification is in sight.
