Also, I could kind of understand the treacle thing if they were thinking that the valuable element was the packaging and the 20-year old treacle was just getting in the way. But I suppose this is Brighton.

But Tate and Lyle's Black Treacle has had the same packaging for something like 150 years, so a 20-year-old tin isn't much good to anyone, is it? Unless it was a special edition one or something.
