So, I was going to do a massive big frame-by-frame commentary of the HBP trailer, but srsly all I can think of is how much Dumbledore looks like the mad Plymouth artist Robert Lenkiewicz (to give you an idea: he once pickled a dead tramp, and in a separate incident, faked his own death).

So, instead, let's do this meme:

Which Harry Potter ( Read more... )

memey goodness, tired and emotional, wangst, fail, attention whoring, potter

That's actually a really difficult question. I'd be tempted to say Snape, but you're not a complete arsehole. Maybe Snape as he would have been if he'd never fallen in with the Death Eaters in the first place.

LOL! I like the sound of that.

I actually saw someone earlier today wearing a t-shirt that said, "I'm not a complete arsehole... some parts are missing". :D

Hmm. Maybe McGonagall and Snape's bastard daughter? Maybe with a dash of how I imagine James Potter would have behaved as a student (Shoebox canon of course). It's a tough call. I hope you feel better :(

You know, there was always a part of me that sort-of-shipped Snape/McGonagall, not in any serious way but in a sort of "Wow, they seemed awfully familiar with each other in that scene, LOL" way. If I'm their secret child, well, that explains everything.

(And thank you. *hug*)

McGonagall, because you make me laugh so HARD. :3 I dunno, I always thought McGonagall had some pretty funny lines. xD

*Blushes* Thank you! I agree, McGonagall has some epic win moments - the bit in OotP where she's arguing with Umbridge about Harry becoming an auror is one of my favourite bits in the series. She totally pwns.

The shot of Dumbledore surrounded by fire made me think of Charleton Heston in The Ten Commandments. Parting the inferi/parting the red sea...a staff/a wand...long beard

LOL! I haven't seen that movie, but I just googled it and... yeah.

More evidence: in DH, the elder wand is taken from Dumbledore's cold, dead hand. Coincidence? I don't think so. :D
