So I have been doing some research here, and talking to a coworker recently, found out that my Blazer might qualify for the CARS government program. Some things I'm gonna have to look into include what kind of loan I'll be able to get, but also what vehicle I should get to replace it. At the moment, from the Read more... )

I love my Mazda 3. On 90%+ highway driving, it averages 30mpg.

Oh wow, that's not bad O.o I looked it up, a bit out of my price range sadly. I've been sticking to stuff that's $10,000-15,000. Will find out tomorrow how bad my credit really is for getting a loan.

Awesome :D I'll be sure to look into the Focus then, but will be doing this very soon. I'm off tomorrow, so gonna be working on this a bit then.

Okies, I'll check out the Honda Fit and the Kia Forte. I'm pretty sure I can handle a car payment, so it shouldn't be a huge issue. One other vehicle I'm thinking of looking into is the Pontiac Vibe, since technically, it's a Toyota Matrix.

Take a look at the honda civic. Has an awesome dashboard! Plus, it should last forever.

You live in a really shitty climate.

I actually suggest grabbing a Suzuki SX4 AWD

Its nimble, its small but its AWD, and its cheap.

Just remember to negotiate your price BEFORE you tell them you have a clunker trade in. Otherwise you will get pwned.

I'll look into the SX4 as well, defintely helps to have a few cars to look into. Assuming my credit isn't beyond fucked I should have something soon ^.^
