I just watched the Numb3rs premiere, and omg, Charlie's hair looks good, but he's all weirdly tan and chipmunk-cheeked. WTF. And Don's hair is too short! The whole Amita/Charlie thing was SO AWKWARD AND WRONG. It always is. Why don't they just give up on it already! And then Charlie saying to Don that he doesn't want the same things as Amita

yes, charlie's hair is better and less snake-like, thank god. Larry and Megan are great, but why does she speak as if her jaw were wired shut? In the 2nd ep, the women become the leaders in the quest for relationships. The "force of nature" psychopath kidnaps Megan, chains her to a pole, pistol whips her and then cuts her, severing an artery. After an unrealistic brink-of-disaster rescue, Megan orders Larry to kiss her. Likewise, Amita asks Charlie to share dinner. The writers seem to think that large brain/penis is an either/or choice!

Oh, I'll have to watch that. It sounds uncomfortably melodramatic. Hah, I never noticed Megan's speaking thing, but you're right.

Interesting about the large brain/penis thing. Charlie and Larry are portrayed as having difficulty taking the lead in romantic relationships, but are quite fearless in physics experiments, and Charlie at least doesn't hesitate to correct the strong and powerful when he knows his math is right. I'm not sure if this romantic timidity is a character choice, or just a "nerds can't get girlfriends" thing.
