Hey, I recced your due South vids in my journal today, and then I realized I don't think I ever fed you back. So sorry! I liked both your vids very much, and I'm very glad to hear you're working on a new one.
I just downloaded your two Due South vids from sprat's lj and I'm here now to thank you. They are both so very beautiful. I love them. Both. But especially the Woobie!Fraser vid. Thank you so much!
Thank you for being so effusive! ::gathers feedback to her bosom::
I'm kinda surprised you liked the woobie!fraser. I didn't get that much fb when I first put it on noticeboard, and, watching it now, it makes me cringe with the technical badness. ::hides face:: But I'm glad it's making other people happy. ^_^
And, uh, if you liked that woobie!fraser, you're going to *love* this next one. Hopefully. If it's ever finished. ::criez::
For vidding, I use a pirated interestingly-obtained copy of Adobe Premiere. Since most ds eps are in divx and xvid, and Premiere can only "read" not "write" those codecs, I use Virtual Dub to convert the section I want to the huge-ass Panasonic DV codec, and import those converted sections into Premiere. Tedious, I know, but at least it works. I've heard some people just use Virtual Dub Mod to vid, but that seems, uh, *really hard* to me, even harder than wrestling with Premiere.
So you might want to grab a torrent *legally purchase* Premiere to get

And can you tell me what program you used? I thought about trying vidding myself and I am still looking for the right thing.
