Nice place to stop, but can't you just blow up the universe and have done with it? They are taking slaves on a suicide mission! Suicide missions should be volunteers only. Ethics aside, any of the slaves could easily wreck the mission. Yes, you are a good writer and the story is fascinating but I would love to watch everything fall apart. It so unnecessary to take all the janitorial staff along.

Maybe they'll take over, ally themselves with the Wraith, come back and destroy Earth - hee hee! In a world where you have slaves, who else is going to do the cooking, cleaning and sanitary work? The Custodian Corps will feature in future eps and, who knows, maybe John can actually do something about it all when he's in charge? I can't see Elizabeth being too happy about the Corps either.

Thanks for reading and for commenting and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Cooking, cleaning and sanitary work can be done by free workers! This version of the Atlantis expedition will have lots of trouble finding friends and allies in the Pegasus galaxy. I can see the Genii refusing to deal with Atlantis as being filled with slave owning perverts. The Genii might be power hungry militarists but didn't seem to own any slaves.

Hmm - not sure about the Genii - can't see them hating the idea, but the Athosians might be less than impressed!

I have really enjoyed reading this, and look forward to the next part.

Those collars sound horrible, but I have a feeling we will see more of them.

Good luck with the moving and of course the baby! I did the whole move a baby at the same time, with my second so I know how busy you are going to be. Take care.

Thank you for sticking with me! There will be more and, yes, I'm sure the collars will feature again!

I'm glad I'm not the only completely mad person! If you survived it, then there's hope - it's just so difficult bending down so much! Anyway, thank you for the comments and the encouragement!

Thank you - it is fun playing God! I'm hoping to have written more of the next book before posting so it doesn't take quite so long, but... well, I'm gonna be a bit busy! Thank you very much for reading and commenting!

I don't normally read slavefics they just squick me too much but I thought I would give yours a go, I like your writing style and its very interesting so far, the fact that they think slavery is normal and not a lot of people think otherwise or try to change it is different. Even the ones who do want a change still refer to Rodney as a slave in their heads.

It will be interesting to see how you write the Peagasus galaxy characters, are they going to be horrified by the earth people owning slaves and how they treat them? Not just Rodney but the custodial slaves, I hope they'll be stunned, I'd like to see some shocked reactions.

I love how you have written John as the "white knight" caring and protective of Rodney, I can see Rodney blossoming under Johns love.

Good luck with the baby and the moving and I hope you get the chance to post when it quiets down a little.

Thank you.

Thank you for giving me a chance and I'm glad you enjoyed it. It struck me that if slave-owning is normal, then why would anyone be that bothered to change things? You're right - John's going to have to be extra charming to win Teyla over. Not only are his people slavers, but he actually owns one himself!

I think the Custodial slaves are going to figure more heavily than I at first envisaged...!

Thank you for reading and commenting.

Thank you very much - I enjoyed writing it, but I couldn't have done it without the support of the people reading it as it went along and, of course, my Goddess!
