It's a pairing that works, odd or not. I'd be interested to see more (and now I have all these ideas of Sam Carter being a pilot on the Galactica...)

(but she is. Er. Depending on which AU you want to choose from. I like her best as a pilot on Galactica, because there's no need to worry about how it works as a crossover, even if she's basically an OC at that point)
