^^ It fits the theme of the movie quite well, I think. :D Thanks. The last line is a play on Selena's motto of 'Living is as good as it gets'.

XD Oddly, I just finished re-watching this movie. The last line is a play on Selena's motto of 'Staying alive is as good as it gets' (which I obviously misquoted in my previous comment response above. ><;; )

I think I need a paper bag to breathe into before I start to hyperventilate. LOVE LOVE LOVE. As much as I enjoy Jim/Selena, this is just. I. You. THIS IS SO PERFECT I COULD CRY. Such sadness, and so perfectly in tune with the film itself.

*hands a paper bag* :D I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much. I love Jim/Selena too, but I have a soft spot for Selena/Hannah just because I think Hannah deserves some love after the whole incident with her father and everything that followed. I'm a HUGE fan of the movie. It helps a lot with getting the feel of the film a little better. I'm itching to do a good long fic about the pair too~ *hands you some tissues too* Just in case, lol.

Somehow, despite my love for slash AND unusual pairings, this one never occurred to me! Thank god for you, eh! Though I've always been intrigued by the idea of Jim/Hannah, ever since someone mentioned it in a comm ages ago.

:D You're welcome then! Jim/Selena is practically canon to the movie though! ^^; I tend to love the non-canon pairings more.
