“Hey,” Andy put her hands on her hips. “I put up with that at Runway because it’s work but that doesn’t fly here.” She indicated the space between them.
“This is a partnership, not a queendom.”
Miranda did not yet waiver.
“I’m not saying you have to talk about everything all at once. I get that you don’t like to be vulnerable-” (Miranda scoffed,) “but just be respectful of me too? And trust that I’m not asking things to be a jerk. I just actually like the real you. Okay?”
Miranda smiled in earnest.
