Drabble Tag 7 Welcome Post and Rules
Hello everyone, and welcome to Drabble Tag 7!
Drabble Tag is an event that has always been HUGE for this community. So many writers come from so many fandoms and platforms to play with us. We get hundreds of prompts and fills. It’s always an amazing time, and I’m glad to be moderating it for the second year in a row.
The basics of drabbletag are that you pick a prompt you'd like to write, and then once you've written your drabble you 1) post it as a separate entry to the community and then 2) respond to the comment where it was requested with a link to the entry, and if you'd like, up to three more prompts (*prompt limit switched from two to three on 7/8/16).
You can write for your own prompts if you wish, and double fills (filling a prompt that's already been filled) are also welcome.
Drabble Tag 7 will continue on for the rest of 2016 with an end date of Saturday, December 21st. As of January 2017, there will be an end-of-event fill-a-thon during the week of Feb. 13th. Stay tuned for updates!
When you're posting to the community please tag your posts drabbletag7 as well as author: yourname and fandom: yourfandom. The regular comm rules apply, (f/f and under 250 words).
Please list your prompts in alphabetical order in this format (Fandom: Character/Character - prompt) for easy organizing:
-Correct: "Orphan Black: Cosima/Delphine - glasses"
-Incorrect: "Orphan Black: Delphine/Cosima, glasses"
The masterlist is arranged by fandom with crossovers at the end. Filled prompts are moved to their own posts. These posts will fill and add up quick, so links will always be right here at the rules post. This is different from last year, where I included fills with the rules.
I will make my best effort to update the fills and prompts lists in a timely manner, and I can assure at least one update per day. However, I’ve started a new job that has me working nights, so if you don’t see posts for a few hours, that’s probably why. If you see any mistakes, please let me know and I will fix them right away!
