The room is warm, more than few candles scattered about, but not nearly as many as before.
Kalique's hand is warm, too, as it strokes Jupiter's inner leg. She exhales slowly, her breath measured.
Her other hand is subtly testing the durability of the ropes that are around Jupiter's wrists. Their tightness is tolerable; leaving her room to twist her hands, but they don't give.
Jupiter squirms, squeezes her legs together, but Kalique's hand keeps them open, slowly making its way upwards.
Jupiter swallows. "You're not going to pretend I'm your mom, right?"
Kalique chuckles, the flames reflecting in her eyes. "Of course not", she says, looking straight at her; her hand doesn't still. "You are merely her incarnation. There's a difference."
"Even though I look exactly like her?" Jupiter points out, momentarily forgetting her vulnerability.
Kalique's hand stops, leaning close enough so that her clothed breasts almost touched Jupiter's bare ones. "You are you're own being, not a copy."
Jupiter is drawn to her eyes, the reflected flames dancing in the black of her pupils. She shudders, hands twitching.
