I'm a pacifist, so it makes no sense that I should have soldierfandoms, but I do, and there's something so romantic about... Yeah.

Man, I need to go re-read Let This Be Real, even if it makes me blub.

Have you read MR yet? (It's a one-shot discworld book, rather than part of an arc -- even if it does involve the Duke of Ankh to some degree -- so it might be a good one to try if you haven't read it already. :-)
