Finn slides the gold band on Sara's finger, followed by small caress (a shy secret between the two of them).
As Sara leans in to kiss the other woman she ignores the ghost of Grissom in the back of her head (who had preferred the unspoken words of those long dead in Peru).
A wife once more, but it felt less unsure and obligatory than it had the first time.
But it was more than just being a wife and lover; Finn was her significant other. Oddly, Sara had never felt that way with Grissom.
But, afterwards, when the ceremony was done, she thought, it had made sense. The first had held charm, but hadn't felt too real.
