Love this, but with all lil ficlets, wish there was more. Also, like the 'crack in the shell' idea too. xxx

Very nice work - my fave line is 'guilt in the air'. Implies a whole raft of angst fallout that could be exploited by a longer fic.

ooooh, such smart Stepford Wives resonances! I do love a robot! but it's so grave and beautiful too.
