They're in Neverland, in the middle of a jungle, it's a horrible idea, but Emma needs her mother.
Anyone could see at any moment with as closely packed as they are at the camp but she doesn't care, she can't wait. So she crosses her fingers, hopes Charming keeps the others distracted enough they don't notice and grabs Snow's hand, hauling her off into the trees behind her.
“What's wrong?” Snow asked instantly, not protesting the rough behavior out of no where.
“I don't like it here.” Emma said quietly, clinging to Snow like a small child, head buried against her neck.
“We'll find Henry soon and go home,” Snow promised, holding Emma close, pressing a kiss to her cheek, “No more jungle, no more Pan, home safe.”
“I'm scared.” The words were a quiet admission that made her feel near tears.
“You don't have to be scared,” Snow kissed her again and held her tighter, “Mommy's here. Mommy will protect you and keep you safe always.”
