I'm halfway through reading Drink Up Thy Zider and I'm finding it incredible. Just from reading your description, I was able to pick that you were talking about this story - it's so distinctive and utterly different from anything I've ever read. And I think, like you, one of my favourite aspects is the sheer British-ness of the story.

I can't wait to finish it :D

Thank you so much for pointing me that way! I really appreciate that. :D I'm slowly becoming more obsessed with cricket lately, much to the amusement of one of my very dear friends, who's Australian and cricket-mad and has been trying to convince me for several years now that it's a fantastic sport. (I keep telling her if she'd pointed me towards Stuart Broad a little earlier... *G*)

And it's been hinted to me that you might be responsible for that lovely, lovely, lovely fic. I have to say, I've read it three times now and each time I fall more and more in love with it. It's just absolutely phenomenal.
