Oh, oh. Lucia, that was beautiful, I love it. Such a true, believable Hermione (well, two of them) and I love the glimpses into her adult life w Ron, especially that they're from the pov of seventeen-year-old Hermione. The underwear drawer scene just makes me giggle out loud. Ack, I love it all. And her time with her parents, and how they react to her enthusiasm at spending time together, I can only imagine how that will change teen!Hermione's interactions with them to be closer and she'll never know why. *sigh*
Oh thank you so much! And hee, the underwear drawer scene was the very first bit that I wrote actually. It's weird though, this is the second time that I've written mother-daughter oriented fic around Christmas time. Hmmmmmm.
You know, excellent smut aside, I knew I'd like that part; I was looking forward to the gen bits here. And I really loved them. You managed to capture the, well not style, your style is your own, but the spirit, or rather the feel of the Harry Potter world. The scene in the RoR was in particularly magical, and that moment is my favorite part of this fic.

In fact, it took her a while to become accustomed to the rampant embraces characteristic of the Weasley clan.Hmm. Really? I always felt that Hermione is the one that likes to jump at people and hug them. Ron had to rescue Harry from her exuberant hugs quite a few times. It seemed to me

Oh! Wow, thank you for such excellent, thoughtful FB. It's interesting because much of what you say are things that I *do* think about Hermione, but wasn't necessarily consciously thinking about while I was writing this. Like about her busy mind, etc. And I'm so (relieved) pleased that you liked the RoR bits, because I was nervous about them, especially because they're so necessarily "plot-devicey." Of course, the RoR was a big ol' plot device in the books as well, but
