two questions misswong November 25 2006, 04:55:53 UTC
1) would your reprsentative consider putting in an amendment that would ban gaucho pants? I think they are oppressive, by which I mean, terribly unflattering. Also, those "dress shorts", leggings without skirts over them, ugg brand boots whenever it is not snowing and empire waist tops.

2) will you marry me?

I think they make my boobs look ridiculous. I guess we'll have to battle over who gets to truly be the feminist-fashion police.

oppressive? in the sweltering heat of summer, yes.

illegal? in the blistering cold of winter, no.

Lolllll - i find it rather humourous that the idea of taking away someones free will in a matter promotes liberation.

I do understand that being told that we have to hide our boobs all the time is rather offensive and sexist.. and i'm not really pro-woman must wear shirts while men dont have to laws, but I definately would never have the guts to walk around topless ever, and i reserve my right to wear le shirts.

It does make me think of the whole janet jackson thing. Men are shirtless on tv allllllll the time.. and one 1/16th of a second of a woman's boobie through the nation into an outrage. gagvomit. I would get a kick out of seeing woman walking around topless in public - but at the same time.. i would have serious concerns over her saftey. :(.

You make a good point.

Making shirts *illegal* wouldn't liberate anyone. Men have the option to wear shirts or not wear shirts.

Women should have the option; as others have stated, you cannot "liberate" people by forcing them to do the opposite of what they have previously done.
