charloft :: RP Sunday - Kissing Bandits

A kissing booth. Not exactly her idea of a fundraiser, but it was something the kids were wanted to do, so she went with it. All were willing, all were legal (or close enough), and they seemed like they were having a lot of fun ( Read more... )

"You're manning the kissing booth?" Clark looks surprised. He'd heard about the fund raising and figured to pitch in and help however he could. Part of him wants to turn around and leave, but the stubborn part keeps the farmer where he is.

"Um, I was planning on donating anyway. Would you rather I wrote a check or...?"

ooc: so sorry, he insisted on a tag. *hangs head*

"Wasn't my idea."

And he's donating. Crap.

She tilts her head, somehow managing to keep her cool. "It's five dollars, Clark. Cash is fine." A beat. "You are only paying for one, aren't you?"

"I wasn't planning..." He trails off, takes a breath, and starts over. "Just one, since it's for a good cause. I can send a check later for your other efforts."

Clark fishes around in his wallet and sets a five down on the table. "If you'd rather not, I understand."

Part of her would rather not...but that wasn't enough to really make a difference.

"It's a kissing booth," she said as she stood. "Meaning kisses are kind of required."

Sam could barely feel his own lips, let alone think of kissing anyone that wasn't Lana for a LONG time.

He had a few dollars in his pocket. Not nearly as rich as Lana and the "charity donations" were for supplies for a few weeks so he managed to cough up a measly $10 as he got to the table.

"So, i guess this makes you the sugar mama in this relationship, huh?" he asked, looking down at her.

"Sugar mama?" David asked, a teasing smile beginning to form. "Go, boss!"

Lana was not amused, and it showed as she looked at him and said the only word he needed to hear.

"Unemployment."

David held up his hands in defeat. He wasn't arguing with that.

She stood and turned her attention back to Sam.

"Guess it does," she said with a small grin.

"Not that I'm complaining at all, you know. Or jealous. Just nice knowing that you can support yourself..."

And be able to drop $60 for a kiss at the drop of a hat...

That makes her grin, though not quite in the proud way. She moves closer, her voice low.

"I didn't exactly earn it, you know..."

When Jimmy first saw Lana sitting in the booth, he thought he was imagining things.

But as he moved closer, he realized how much he wasn't.

Lana Lang.

In a kissing booth.

An actual shot at kissing Lana, in which she would not tell him no.

He knew he only had a ten in his pocket, and it was his last ten dollars, but he didn't care. It was Lana.

He marched right over, threw the bill down in front of her, and then broke into a grin.

"Lay one on me, baby!"

Lana actually laughed a little. Just the way he delivered that line...she thought it was hilarious.

"Ten. That'll get you two kisses, or would you rather extend the first one?"

She wasn't too excited about kissing him, but it was much better than kissing a total stranger.

Her laugh was cute. At least, he thought so. Really cute.

"Two would be good." he said, without hesitating. The more, the better. Then he could say he hadn't just been kissed once by Lana Lang, but twice.

She stood and leaned forward a little.

"Two it is."
