I just got back from a lovely blind "date" with beelikej who is over here visiting from the Netherlands. Well, it was more blind for her than me since I'd seen a picture of her and knew what she looked like but she had no idea what to expect. Guess you were relieved I didn't turn out to be a fifty year old pervert living in his mother's basement, right?

Made it safely here and after some volcanic trouble even made it safe home again. *g* It was such fun to meet, we probably could have talked all day.

Well, hey there! I had wanted to respond to this post when I got home, but it took me a week to get back to a -more or less- normal rhythm and catch up on the internetz for realz (ahemz)

I have yet to meet that infamous old pervert, but yes of course I was thrilled that you were not him *shifty eyes*
Dude, no fail at all; I'm the one who should be embarrassed for harassing you with those personal questions about your writing. I felt like a flailing fangirl.
I had an absolute brilliant time hanging out with you. (and I wish we could watch all that stuff together - even SPN *grins and ducks*)

Heh. Thanks for that 'stache explanation. I vote for another way to raise awareness though; moustaches are so wrong there is really no excuse. *shivers* It's a good thing it's almost April \o/
Although I must admit I hardly noticed most of the people, as I was too busy being impressed by the landscape. I posted pictures of the whole experience in my journal (as if you don't already know how amazing your country is
