About a week ago I downloaded a bunch of clips on YouTube of him singing on a British variety show (or maybe several shows, it wasn't clear.) Anyway, he does "Maria" from West Side Story (one of my favorite songs) and "I Am What I Am" from La Cage au Folles. The latter is a particularly moving performance. I hope Torchwood doesn't take him too far away from musicl theater; it's clearly his deepest love.

Also, check out his performance as the lead tenor in "Springtime for Hitler" from Mel Brooks' The Producers. He's blond! And is it wrong I find him yummy even in the Nazi uniform?
