You are young. I turned 50 4 months ago and I'm still writing. I know of someone on my flist that is 64 and she still writes slash. It's great that you put your stories on AO3. I'm going to do that someday. Keep up the great writing. Loved The Doors of Time.

Hey, congrats on getting everything moved over to the AO3. We're almost exactly the same age! I was a late bloomer, too, started writing fanfic in 2005.

That sucks, feeling like you need to worry about everything you write. The great thing about writing fanfic is that we're not doing it to put food on the table. As nice as it is to get positive feedback, first and foremost we can write to please ourselves! Of course, if you're looking for outside validation, Doors of Time is still one of my Top Ten stories I've ever read, pro or fanfic.

I was amused to realize that anyone sorting my works at the AO3 via hits will find, right at the top of the list, my gay incestuous amnesiac non-con torture porn. Umm. Yay fandom?

And I am much, much older than you, and still perving on boys. However, it's much less work than boys in RL.
