You know, when you spend your night dreaming about Stephen Hawking being in your bed, wheelchair and all, wanting your help in solving the mystery of the female mind it's time to get yourself some decent porn. *headdesk* (Apparently he is baffled by the whole women wanting to be seen sexy but not as sex objects thing and wasn't sure where the line ( Read more... )

Loving your weird dreams :D I only have boring dreams or dreams I don't remember when I wake up.

I have to admit that I haven't even heard about that series but might give it a look based on what you wrote there. Summer is coming and all the series are starting their summer hiatus. A very good time to watch some new shows :)

It's rather frustrating that when I at last dream of someone famous in my bed it's Stephen Hawking. Not exactly my idea of hot stud. Although his brain is pretty sexy. *g*

I hadn't heard of them either until I read about that fandom survey where they placed #4! Which of course meant I had to check out what the fuss was about.

Still finding it odd that they placed #4 considering it's a sitcom. Sitcoms don't seem to generate as big or much involved fandoms (it's the only sitcom on the top 13) maybe because they lack the angst we love so much since the 22 minute limtation makes it hard to go that deep into anything. Especially since you have to keep people laughing or at least amused for most of those minutes. But yeah, I highly recommend them. It's only got 2 season's so far. Here's hoping they get a third one.

I think I discovered Community 2 years ago during the March Madness showdown when people campaigned hard for Abed. Then this past March Madness Troy won the whole shebang - loved that one of the campaign posters put "A vote for Troy is a vote for Abed!" Love those guys. :-) If you think Season 1 is awesome - wait 'til Season 2!

Let me know when you're caught up - would love to reminisce :-)

Abed is my absolute favourite of the bunch. He is so wonderful. Having been reading about Aspergers so much this last year makes him even more enjoyable.

Oh, we'll probably finish before the weekend. Hubby is completely hooked, so much that apparently he was perfectly aware what time it was last night and decided not to tell me so I wouldn't want to stop watching. He wasn't quite as happy this morning when we had to get up at 7. Well, he had to. In punishment for keeping me up I let him get the kids to school while I slept for an extra hour. *evil grin*

I need an Abed icon...

Woah, that's really weird. 0_o

But Stephen Hawking is awesome. Have you read his "A Brief History of Time"? It's all kinds of wonderful!

Oh, Community, I'm a huge fan of that show! And the main (though definitely not the only) reason is that it is so beautifully non-PC, indeed; it's such a wonderful breath of fresh air as far as US shows go.

LOVE Community. I rarely watched Joel McHale on The Soup because I find that show tedious, but from what I can tell, he basically plays himself on Community and he is much more enjoyable in that context.

Abed and Troy are made of win.
