I kinda don't get Tumblr either. It's sort of like a more media driven blogging system. Like pics, vids, etc. But you can't reply to comments. So. WTF?
7th season... I was like... Um. Yay? I dunno. the 6th has kind of left me... disappointed? In a way? IDEK. It's been a little anticlimactic after the whole sending Sam to hell, and now with the war in Heaven which we aren't even seeing really, it's all a bit... weird. I do love Balty though. LOVE HIM. I want more of him in the show. And Cas. Balty and Cas. *Nods*
I've kinda sorta moved sideways back to an old fandom of Doctor Who and Torchwood. With Torchwood finally filming a 4th season and it being released in July, I'm super pscyhed for that, and DW's 6th season just started on Sunday, so super duper psyched for that. In Australia we don't get it until this weekend, but heh, what the writers don't know won't hurt them right? dl it.
But I still breath in your fic like air. So. You know. It's all good. :D
For me it's always been about the brothers, their relationship, how it evolves as they themselves change in relation to what they go through. Everyone else is just there to help the story along. Honestly, I could easily watch just the two of them brood and bicker and emo on the hood of the Impala every week and it would still be interesting because it's them and they are interesting to me. But then again I am a sucker for emo boys. :)
I'm feeling a bit apprehensive about Torchwood. Not because I'm one of those that went into shock about Ianto, I was far more upset when they killed Owen, really. It's just that they pretty much have to start from scratch with the hub gone and everyone but Gwen, Jack and Rhys dead. It can either be a fabulous new start or it can go horribly wrong. I'm hoping for the best while still not putting my expectations too high.
Doctor Who of course is fabulous as always. *g* I have to dl everything, too. Last DW they showed here was S2, I think.
it aired in the US on Sunday. But you gotta have the right channel I think. BBC HD? Don't quote me. But I had peeps on my twitter whining because they had to wait 6 hours. I was like SISTA PLS. I have to wait 7 DAYS. Do not cry in your Wheaties to me about waiting a measly 6 hours for DW. And then I went and dl'ed. HEH. AND SAW IT BEFORE HER. MAWHAHA. Because I rock like that. DW just blew me away. I was like *JAW DROPPED*
I'll always watch SPN, because I love Jensen and I watch everything he's in, and I support his career that way. I adore him. So I'll watch it until it goes off air. But... Man. It just. I dunno. I haven't been as thrilled with it as I have been in the past, that's all I'm sayin'. Plus I'm a little disillusioned with SPN fandom as a whole anyway.
TW... I'm a Ianto girl. I was crushed when they killed him off. You have no idea. I wasn't in the fandom at all until now, but I'm really glad they didn't film 4 until now because it's given me time to get over it and accept it back into my life. I'm looking forward to the

I don't get Tumblr either and each time I try to sit down and figure out how to use it effectively, I end up getting overwhelmed and scared by it. And it sucks because I feel like a bit part of the Glee fandom (which seems to eclipse my life now) is there and I'm not so I feel like I need to be but at the same time, it just doesn't seem worth the hassle. Especially since I'm not sure what the point of it is aside from GIFs. And very abbreviated content.
It's like either you get one entry, usually sporting a pic or a gif and then a list of people either liking or re-blogging it. Or you get a whole archive of billion pics and gifs killing your browser. Either way I can't make heads or tail of it. Have picked up some nice gifs and pics from there though, I have to admit, but mostly because I stumble upon them by accident while actually looking for something completely different.
I just recently discoverd your work and decided to follow you because of your awesomeness ... so I might not be actually f-list...but anyway...just wanted to say I'm thrilled as well and yeah - someone's out there with you :) *can't let go of the boys together too*
I have to admit I pretty much stopped adding people some years back when my flist got too big. I think I've maybe added ten people in the last three years or so. So yeah, I didn't see that. But yay for being thrilled!! *grins*
Tumblr mostly confuses me. And annoys me by being confusing. lol
I'm certainly not uninterested. I greet each new Supernatural episode with joy, because Sam and Dean are doing their thing. I like other characters, but I don't love them the way I love Sam and Dean, and I won't pine if they die. What I've lost interest in is the fandom. I am so over the wanky, self opinionated stuff that seems to be most of fandom, and I have no desire whatsoever to further it. I like BOTH boys, and I relish their acting skills. I didn't cry when they got married and hope that they are having as happy a time as possible, because they make me happy. I would sit and watch Jensen read from the phone book if I couldn't see him in anything else, and, like you, I relish the way they are together, even if they might not be knocking boots

the guys being allowed to work together for another year. I'm really not ready for them to go their seperate ways and I'm not talking tinhat J2-true-love-4evah!!11 here. Just them, being their adorable dorky selves and best friends and bromance and all that.
I think I am more happy about THIS than anything else. :-D
