Season SEVEN!
Yay for Supernatural getting its seventh season! \o/
Laugh all you want but I don't even know which I'm happier about, getting a whole other season to watch or the guys being allowed to work together for another year. I'm really not ready for them to go their seperate ways and I'm not talking tinhat J2-true-love-4evah!!11 here. Just them, being their adorable dorky selves and best friends and bromance and all that.
Strange how things change. Two years ago I'd have gotten the news from numerous excited posts on my flist. This year I got it from four different people on Facebook, and then eventually it made its way to - so far - two people on my flist.
Is everyone losing interest? Or are you just somewhere else?
I use FB and LJ so differently. FB is for family and RL friends, LJ is for fanstuff and you guys. Needless to say FB doesn't get nearly as porny updates. I grew bored of Twitter after a couple of months. Only reason I check in there every few weeks is to stalk celebs. (Is it really stalking if you only read occasionally and, hello! They put it out there!) And Tumblr...
Honestly, I don't GET Tumblr. Every time I follow a link to it I end up confused and irritated. Do people have friendslists? How do you follow comments? How do you follow anything that's happening? It feels like it got its name quite accurately, it's all tumbled together in one mish mash of confusing info. And gif fests. It gives me a headache.
Anyway...
I'm back to work after 11 days off. And I'm sick to my stomach with anxiety. Just a nerve-twitching, belly-clenching, heart-racing, sweaty bundle of stress. Had a nightmare this morning were first I was stuck inside the Titanic when it was sinking and then, when I finally got out, I fell asleep in a taxi and the cab driver tried to rape me. Hubby woke me up as I was crying in my sleep. *sighs*
Maybe it's because it's the first day of my final stretch at work. 25 work days left, including this one. Got a call earlier from the woman who has been our main connection with the union since she just heard about my situation. Apparently they'd talked about my case at the yearly meeting last week. Four librarians were let go from the main hospital library before Easter and the elementary school libraries are losing a lot of people. But so far I'm the only librarian to be let go from the junior colleges, although some have had their hours cut. Always nice to be unique. [/sarcasm] Anyway, they're taking this very seriously because it's not as if librarians are that many so every one that's being let go is heightening the percent number of unemployment within our profession considerably.
Ugh, my stomach can't decide if I'm starving or need to throw up. Either way I don't feel very well.
