I love your 'Mirror' 'verse so much, that when I saw this on my flist I actually squeed. I love how vulnerable Jensen is in this, and how strong Jared is for him. I loved how accepting Sherri was, both of their relationship and Jensen's illness, and I loved how everything Jensen needs him, Jared's right there, supporting him, loving him, and just basically being everything Jensen needs.

Awesome, awesome time stamp. I seriously hope you do more in this 'verse.

Thank you so much, sweetie. I'm really glad you enjoyed this so much. It's not easy being in Jensen's head when writing this verse, I have to admit. There is so much self hatred there and confusion and fear. But then there are moments like this when people surprise him by just being human and understanding and not the judgemental bigoted assholes he assumes they'll be. Teaching him that maybe there's more to both him and them than he thought.

Well, they say you can't choose your family but hey, what do they know? Maybe you can't get rid of the old one but you can always add and expand! (I have 8 siblings myself of which only 3 are actually related to me so...) I think you're right, Jared's family will do Jensen a world of good on the long road ahead.

Okay, I might have cried reading this. I'm so damn proud of Jensen, for actually stepping outside his comfort zone, he has grown so much from the first time we met him and it's just amazing to see how Jared effects him by simply being there.

He is taking steps I'm sure he never in a million years thought he'd take and as hard as it is I think it's really helping him in realizing that things can get better and that he doesn't have to struggle through it alone.
