Yeah -- my roommate did on metaquotes. Now I'm wondering if there are going to be any responses on the Spark blog -- probably not, as they don't strike me as an LJ crowd, but who knows?

Why is she always in another castle?! ^_^

From Persona I learned that repressed emotions are not necessarily bad things. They can help you prevent the end of the world! ^_^

Clearly she's fleeing Mario. He is kind of scary.

Should we even get into what SimCity taught us about urban planning, zoning and construction regulations, and other aspects of municipal politics?

If you get tired with running your city, you can always release Godzilla or some other disaster on it and laugh while it burns... or was I the only one who played Sim City like that? ^_^

How about:
- City Hall can simply bulldoze any and all buildings, from individual houses all the way up to universities, museums, zoos, airports, major historical monuments, nuclear reactors, and even City Hall itself, with no warning, for very little money, and with negligible ill effect on public opinion.
- Major reshaping of the surrounding landscape is governed only by budget, not by environmental review, which is okay because it will never have any environmental impact.
- All medium-sized towns feature monumental statues of the currently serving mayor.
- A single mayor can, and frequently does, serve for centuries and centuries without ever seeking re-election.
- Medicine, education, highways, airports, seaports, and even spaceports and nuclear reactors are municipal areas of jurisdiction.
